Southwire Type SOOW Flexible Cords are built for demanding industrial environments and are approved for use under Article 400 and related sections of the National Electrical Code. Designed for extra-hard usage, these cords are ideal for powering heavy-duty equipment, tools, battery chargers, portable lighting, welding leads, marine dockside power, extension cords, and mining operations. The conductors are insulated and cabled with wax paper fillers, while a tissue-paper separator allows for easy jacket removal during installation.
