Little Giant 4-MD-SC (582503) is a Magnetic Drive Pump 1/10 HP, 115 V, 50/60 Hz, 6′ power cord – MD-SC Series for semi-corrosive chemicals and solutions, acids, alkalis, solvents, plating solutions, sterile solutions and other special fluids. Designed for in-line, non-submersed use in environments such as hospitals, chemical companies, photo labs, dry cleaning plants, car washes, machine shops, laboratories, manufacturing plants, print shops and wineries.
4-MD-SC Magnetic Drive Pump features a 1/2″ MNPT discharge with head capacity of 24′. Little Giant 4-MD-SC with a 1″ FNPT Intake was specifically engineered to handle semi-corrosive fluids with high efficiency and long term dependability. The newest 4-MD-SC has glass-filled polypropylene magnet housing, volute and impeller to ensure ultimate chemical resistance. Only chemical resistant materials are in contact with fluids. Little Giant 4-MD-SC boasts leakproof, seal-less magnetic drive, Fluid Temperature operation up to 150F and Ambient Air Temperature up to 77F. Ceramic shaft seal, thrust washers and Nitrile parts are 99.5% pure alumina provide a longer service life, excellent wear and trouble-free service. Little Giant’s powerful 1/10 HP Open FC, PSC, thermally protected, totally enclosed, fan-cooled motor with ball bearings and thermal overload protection delivers 11.8 GPM of fluids at 9′. Pumping heads of 4-MD-SC are easily rotated, cleaned or serviced with no special tools required.
