Engineered for long-life and reliable performance, the 5RC is constructed from rugged, red brass and features a single-piece (1-piece) body design. This robust build, combined with a strong, corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring, ensures a positive, leak-proof seal when not in use. The self-closing, thermoplastic rubber cover (“RC”) snaps shut to keep dirt, grass, and debris out of the valve body, protecting the internal components.

This valve provides a 1″ NPT female inlet and is designed for high-flow applications, handling 10 to 125 GPM at pressures from 5 to 125 PSI. To operate, simply insert the compatible 1″ key (model 55K1, sold separately) for instant water access.
