This 600-Volt grounded, jacketed NM-B cable is commonly used in residential wiring applications such as branch circuits for outlets, switches, and appliances. It is suitable for both exposed and concealed installations in normally dry locations, including air voids within masonry block or tile walls that are not subject to excessive moisture.
The conductor insulation is rated for 90°C, with overall cable ampacity limited to 60°C in accordance with NEC requirements. In multi-conductor applications, the additional circuit supports residential branch circuits that require a separate neutral, such as AFCI-protected outlets.
