Little Giant 2-MD (580002) is a Magnetic Drive Pump 1/30 HP, 115 V, 60 Hz, 6′ power cord – MD Series for mildly corrosive chemicals and solutions, acids, alkalis, solvents, plating solutions, sterile solutions and other special fluids. Designed for in-line, non-submersed use in environments such as hospitals, chemical companies, photo labs, dry cleaning plants, car washes, machine shops, laboratories, manufacturing plants, print shops and wineries.
2-MD Magnetic Drive Pump features a 1/2″ MNPT discharge with head capacity of 14.75′. Little Giant 2-MD with a 1/2″ FNPT Intake was specifically engineered to handle mildly corrosive fluids with high efficiency and long term dependability. 2-MD Magnetic Drive Pump has glass-filled polypropylene magnet housing and volute to ensure ultimate chemical resistance. Only chemical resistant materials are in contact with fluids. Little Giant 2-MD boasts Glass-filled polypropylene and ceramagnet “A” (ceramic type) Impeller; leakproof and seal-less magnetic drive, Fluid Temperature operation up to 150F and Ambient Air Temperature up to 77F. Titanium shaft, thrust washers and Nitrile O-ring seal provide a longer service life, excellent wear and trouble-free service. Little Giant’s powerful 1/30 HP Open FC, thermally protected, totally enclosed, fan-cooled motor with ball bearings and thermal overload protection delivers 5.5 GPM of fluids at 9′. Pumping heads of 2-MD are easily rotated, cleaned or serviced with no special tools required.
