Description
Sioux Chief 821 series, USA-made shower drain with 5″ x 5″ stainless steel tile insert grate and stainless steel rim (compare to part# 821-T2PT5A – samer drain with plastic rim). Installed in combination with a PVC shower pan liner/flashing (such as one made by Oatey) and finished with tile. Innovative design allows to seamlessly create shower drainage without the color/finish matching struggles. Adjustable height top easily accommodates various mortar bed thicknesses. Rugged PVC body and thick, durable stainless steel grate & rim ensure worry-free performance. Grate is removable and allows access to a secondary built-in strainer which catches hair & small items, facilitating easy cleaning w/out drain chemicals and easy retrieval of jewelry, etc. Connects to a standard 2″ PVC pipe. Optional test plug (part# 821-TP, not required, used only if testing with water for leaks) is sold separately.
